National Key Cluster status:
The NUTRIBIOMED Cluster holds the prestigious National Key Cluster status awarded by the Ministry of Development and Technology, recognising its significant contribution to the national economy and its international competitiveness.
Coordinator:
The Cluster was initiated and is coordinated by Wrocław Technology Park (WPT), which acts as a network broker, facilitating communication, cooperation, and knowledge transfer among Cluster members.
Mission and objectives:
The Cluster’s mission is to strengthen Poland’s position in the health-promoting products sector by leveraging domestic natural resources and advanced production technologies. It supports the development, commercialisation, and implementation of innovative technologies and products..

The Cluster operates across several highly specialised sectors, including:
Food processing
- Nutraceuticals and dietary supplements

- Pharmaceuticals and chemistry
- Medicine and cosmetology
Infrastructure:
Cluster members gain access to advanced infrastructure, including modern pilot-scale and small-batch production lines for dietary supplements and bioactive products, as well as research and development, microbiological, and chemical laboratories.

The Cluster serves as a platform for collaboration, enabling effective communication, knowledge exchange, and technology transfer between academic institutions and businesses.
Who we are
The NUTRIBIOMED Cluster was established in November 2007. It is coordinated by Wrocław Technology Park and serves as an integrated collaboration platform for businesses and researchers involved in technology transfer within the life science sector.
The Cluster brings together universities, research institutions, and companies operating in areas such as:
- food and nutrition, biotechnology,
- pharmaceuticals,
- chemistry,
- medicine,
- cosmetics.
Since 31 December 2021, the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster has held National Key Cluster status, placing its members in a privileged position when applying for national and European funding programmes.
The NUTRIBIOMED Cluster creates a Life Science Hub – a collaborative ecosystem bringing together key industries related to health, life sciences, and wellbeing. Through its close connection with Wrocław Technology Park, members gain access to a broad portfolio of services and infrastructure. Combined with dedicated cluster services, this creates unique opportunities for growth and innovation.
